In the annals of military history it can be said that no man was better suited for the times, place and situation than what faced Britons Sir Winston Churchill during World War ll. Churchill successfully lead his county and the world against an axis evil that threatened democracy and Christian civilization. At the invitation of President Truman seeing what was developing in post World War ll Europe, Churchill came to Fulton Missouri and predicted the future struggles of the world by delivering his Iron Curtain speech. From the Westminster College campus this county has relocated, stone by stone, and rebuilt a Sir Christopher Wren 17th century London chapel to commemorate Sir Winston Churchill and that speech. We will travel to America’s National Churchill Museum and talk to the Director about the man whom we all owe so much.
